About Bernadett
Bernadett Vajda is a professional model in New York City. She’s always been told she’s down to earth, grounded, and logical (one of her favorite scents is still patchouli). After years of working in the fashion industry she resolved to help others attain the same looks seen in the glossy magazine pages.
Here’s where she’s been.
Her career began in politics, working for a member of Congress in Massachusetts. Since the age of ten, Bernadett dreamed of one day going into the Peace Corps, law school and then one day running for political office. All that changed when her father was tragically killed and she realized her political ambitions had subsided and a desire to live life to the fullest with no regrets was her passion. She had to rebuild her life and learn how to take better care of herself physically, spiritually, and essentially relearn how to live. Someone once told her, “It’s what you do after a tragedy that matters.”
Bernadett was approached by a Hollywood producer who told her to go to New York and become a model in the plus size industry. He raved about the plus-sized fashion market for women like her. She rolled the dice and made the bold move of coming to New York, and was signed with the renowned Wilhelmina Modeling agency. She became a successful plus size model in New York City and is surrounded by some of the best in the industry, from fashion stylists to photographers to hair and makeup.
Since becoming a professional model, Bernadett’s appeared in Glamour Magazine, O Magazine, several international publications, catalogs, and is a frequent model on The View, Today Show, Good Morning America, Early Show. She also rang the morning bell at the NASDAQ.
This is where she is going.
Bernadett’s career in the plus size-modeling world continues to rise but her desire to give back and help people achieve a polished, fashionable look and lifestyle has always been her passion. Throughout her life people have always approached her seeking advice. Friends, family and even her former boss in Congress would often ask which tie is most appropriate, which color is most flattering, how to find their look. She took that passion and turned it into a business.
Image consulting is not about a makeover or a make under business. It’s about discovering the beauty that already is within each individual and educating those who wish to reach a higher sense of themselves and their style. It’s about the person.
