I was pleased to be asked to speak at Moody’s Financial (downtown Manhattan) to an impressive group of women on how confidence translates all areas of your life. I find that everyone wants a quick fix on how to “get there” faster and the reality is there is no quick fix on how to become confident and your best self. We are all a work in progress. Trying new things, taking classes, expanding your mind, body and spirit will aide in becoming more confident. I think it’s our life’s work. Being our best. Thank you Moody’s for the honor of spending your lunch hour with me. It was remarkable to meet all of you.
[Funny Story. The Today Show was airing stories about female entrepreneurs and Jenna Bush Hager was talking to women of all backgrounds on how they created and succeeded in being business owners. I was applauding these women as I watched at home. I was on my way to give my talk at a professional development luncheon on being confident and I ran into her on the street. Love when that happens don’t you?]
