Jen Pressley, Creative Director Who’s Funky but Business Appropriate.

“Bernadett is more than an image consultant — she was able to take my outlook on life and myself from ok to awesome in one short session. Her posing lessons are also great for everyone, in every aspect of life. Even though it seems silly, my drivers license picture went from being horrible to wow — it’s amazing how something so simple can be such a boost to your self-esteem.…

You just graduated from college.  Everyone is so proud of you and now it’s time to get a job, make your dreams come true and wear the right clothes and it means getting rid of your college garb.  I know you have lots of pressures out in the real world but don’t worry, with these helpful tips you are well on your way.  …

Teach Kids (Fashion) Early On

Kids who know better do better.  Important lessons are best taught at an early age. Lessons like, manners, sharing, not eating with your mouth full, and fashion must be taught early.  That’s why I’ve posted this video of Amelia Molis (from Massachusetts) declaring her “I WUV IT” statement while selecting her daily outfit.  This is what I call great parenting.  Great job to her parents, Steve and Cynthia Molis of Massachusetts.  …

Accessories: Affordable and A Must Have

STYLE VIA DIY

I went shopping for a gift today at the Jonathan Adler store on the UES (Upper East Side) and was greeted by a cool girl named Holly.  I immediatly asked where she got her shirt because I noticed the little detail on the shoulder.  Shirt is H&M and studs ($10) Holly put on herself.  Yes, it took her 1 hour but it adds that “dressed up” feel to a shirt that cost $19.95.  …

My Oscar Fashion and Style Winner

She may not have walked home with Oscar but she walked on that red carpet feeling confident and elegant. Viola Davis, skipped her wig (which many models and actresses wear to protect their own hair from becoming damaged) and wore her natural locks.  She admitted on the red carpet that her family encouraged her to go wigless.  She recently told InStyle that her husband was the one who first suggested she attend the event sans wig.…

Welcome to my new website.

I have random thoughts all day and night. I have my cell in hand taking notes most of the time. I have many loves but what you’ll find in my blog is my love for anything that begins with the letter “F.” FOOD
FASHION PHILANTHROPY (sounds like “F”) I also love: Fun, Family, Friends, Fast blow outs, Franklin Delano Roosevelt quotes, the act of Fairness and much more.…
